Deliver the formulation, development and implementation of security and guard services for a particular sub-section to enhance security measures and improve security services in the assigned sub-section.
Supervise security personnel assigned to sub-section and for all fixed static positions and patrol assets in area of responsibility, increasing security coverage and reducing security risks.
Conduct continuous assessments of areas of operation, producing forecast reports concerning operational requirements to aid in security management decision-making.
Implement security risk mitigation projects or aspects of security programs to improve effectiveness and reduce security risks.
Verify guard rosters are correct to satisfy business requirements and ensure sufficient attendance, leading to optimal deployment of security personnel.
Act as Security Incident Commander for serious security incidents, deciding on appropriate strategy to meet contingency to minimize impact and resulting in swift resolution.
Oversee and monitor investigation of serious security incidents and reviews investigations conducted by other staff members ensuring each case is thoroughly examined and closed only when all facts are established.
Assist in defining budgetary requirements for various equipment when required meeting security objectives and cost-effectiveness.

Essential skills and knowledge

Secondary school education.
Security certifications and membership of a professional security body.
8 years’ experience in the military, police, or government at supervisor level out of which 3 years of industrial experience or 9 years’ formal private security at supervisor level.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Competent in Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Valid Driving License and holder of First Aid certificate.
