JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood UK are hiring for a knowledgeable and experienced Consultant to advise on Pipelines Crossing from both and engineering and construction perspective.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a cutting edge net zero project on an initial one year contract.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be a member of the Client's project team and provide consulting on project engineering issues
• Responsible for providing expertise and ensures the application of correct standards in all EPC deliverables in the design
• Providing expertise on crossing design and construction methodology
• Provide progress data and input to progress reports and schedules
• Fully understands clients HSE policy, procedures, regulations and objectives as they relate to his area of responsibility
• Contact and communicate with third parties and authorities as per PM instructions
• Undertake site visits as per project requirements
• Review of EPC contractor pipeline engineering documentation and provide comments
• Interface with department for technical and administrative support
• Coordinate pipelines detailed design and mitigate interdisciplinary conflicts
• Attend client and EPC contractor meetings as required
• Interface with other disciplines and coordinate design review works
• Identify potential applications for new technology
• Ensure that Wood and Client's Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Procedures are complied
• Provide assistance to other disciplines and participate in review meetings (if requested), in accordance with project requirements
• Support internal development and continuous improvement activities as required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Significant experience of Pipelines Crossings on complex projects
• Strong communication skills ideally with previous IPMT experience
• Reading based role on an initial one year engagement
