This position reports to

Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of medium-size projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the project team members to achieve project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and meet the committed project result. The work model for the role is: Hybrid {#LI-Hybrid} This role is contributing to the Electrification - Distribution Solutions business area and division in Chile. Your main stakeholders are internal clients, and external clients from the Mining and Utilities markets. You will be mainly accountable for: • Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals. • Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials. • Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued. • Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract. • Leading all project activities, ensuring the proper execution of deliverables, according to contract specifications, quality and HSE standards.

Qualifications for the role

• You engaged in Project Management, with at least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager or higher positions, working with Project Management tools and SAP ERP.
• You can demonstrate your experience influencing the decision making process for internal and external clients, as well as have the ability to manage clients and suppliers, and negotiate effectively, with a solution-oriented approach.
• You have extensive experience working with MS Project, Primavera P6 or other Project Management tools.
• You possess a degree in Engineering, desirably from the Electrical or Mechanical fields, as well as a PMP Certification.
• You can communicate in Spanish fluidly, and feel at ease holding relevant conversations in English (intermediate to advanced level).
• You have availability to travel in and out of the country upon Project requirements.
