We are currently hiring for Lead Schedular with Metro Project experience for Dubai location.

Responsibilites:

  • Develop, update, and maintain the Al Wedyan Programme Master Schedule, including updates and periodic reporting to the Employer.
  • Establish the Programme Master Baseline Schedule.
  • Develop WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) at both PMO and project levels in coordination with CBS (Cost Breakdown Structure).
  • Create and maintain P6 Planning Activity coding structures.
  • Update and manage the Al Wedyan Roll-out Schedule with input from the Employer and Master Planner.
  • Provide critical input for developing and updating monthly time slice presentations for the entire programme (Plots/Infrastructure/Logistics).
  • Coordinate with the Employer's IT/Planning department to implement P6 EPPM on the Employer's server, including hardware, software, training, and maintenance.
  • Prepare and maintain procurement schedules (tender event schedule) for Lead Consultants and Main Contractors.
  • Collate, review, and assess weekly progress dashboards for individual projects and prepare executive summaries.
  • Report on infrastructure status summaries in coordination with designers.
  • Prepare and present overall monthly programme dashboards and KPIs to the Employer.
  • Review, analyze, and report on schedule status for individual projects, offering solutions for proactive management.
  • Participate in project planning meetings with Project Managers and Lead Consultants to address progress, key issues, and critical paths.
  • Collaborate with all programme stakeholders to resolve schedule-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain project planning and scheduling activities.
  • Create logic networks based on the critical path method (CPM).
  • Develop work breakdown structures (WBS) and activity coding structures.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure schedule compliance.
  • Perform project cost control, including man-hour calculations.
  • Identify bottlenecks and alert management proactively.
  • Coordinate and interface with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Conceptualize project execution plans and finalize scopes of work.
  • Conduct project evaluations in terms of cost and profitability.
  • Control monthly production schedules, material schedules, and progress reports (MIS reports).
  • Manage materials for assigned projects using ERP and Primavera tools.
  • Prepare build strategies and project budgets.
  • Create cardinal program charts and PERT monitoring systems.
  • Provide earned value information for project alignment.
  • Develop systems and procedures to deliver services for new clients.


Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized university.
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Primavera (P3/P5/P6) and MS Project.
    • Strong contractual, commercial, and financial knowledge.
    • Extensive experience in strategic planning, investment, and M&A.
  • Languages: Arabic proficiency is an advantage but not essential.
  • Analytical Thinking: Break down complex situations to identify patterns and relationships.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, with clear and confident expression.
  • Financial Management: Strong budgeting and financial acumen.
  • Leadership & Management: Forward-thinking, team player, and adept in planning and resource allocation.
  • Negotiating Skills: Ability to build consensus and influence outcomes.
  • Presentation Skills: Proficiency in presenting ideas effectively to varied audiences.
  • Project Management: Skilled in managing project scopes, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Technical Knowledge: Expert in planning tools, systems, and methodologies.
