Job Purpose

Reporting To: Head of Competence Development and Talent Management
Key Responsibilities
- Competence Framework Development
- Implement and regularly update technical and behavioral competence frameworks for all eligible positions, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and best practices.
- Provide guidance to line supervisors on setting Competence Levels Required (CLR) and assessing Competence Levels Demonstrated (CLD).
- Identify and address gaps in employee competences, recommending training and development plans as necessary.
- Performance Management
- Oversee the performance management cycle in line with the Employee Performance Management System policy.
- Support line managers with KPI progress tracking to ensure corporate targets are met.
- Handle employee appeals related to performance ratings and prepare cases for managerial and panel review.
- Advise on and monitor the implementation of Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) for employees requiring development.
- Talent Management and System Maintenance
- Implement and maintain talent management tools, ensuring their functionality and integrity.
- Conduct training sessions to familiarize employees with appraisal and Professional Development Plan (PDP) tools.
- Lead the development of e-learning courses to support understanding of Learning & Development (L&D) processes.
- Continuous Improvement and Strategic Input
- Identify opportunities to enhance performance management and talent development processes, recommending and implementing changes.
- Ensure alignment of frameworks with industry standards and company strategy through periodic reviews.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience and Skills
- Experience:
- At least 8 years of experience in competence development, performance management, or talent management roles.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and facilitation skills to guide meetings and influence senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and recommend actionable improvements.
