Region Sales Manager Analytics
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will proactively develop the Continuous Water Analyzers (CWA) business in Industrial and Municipal market segments in the Northeast United States. This will be achieved with strategic industry and consultative application development to establish approval and preference for ABB's CWA product line, solutions, and services. This will be in collaboration with ABB sales partners and ABB sales and service teams; demonstrating both commercial and technical expertise to lead sales development efforts. The work model for the role is remote. #LI-Remote This role is contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division in Bartlesville, OK. You will be mainly accountable for: • Provide a strong sales direction, with strategic initiatives and regular performance evaluations to the team. • Strategic insight into ABB's go-to-market strategy and suggest enhancements to the current strategy • Ensure that sales partners and sales teams are in full compliance with ABB Policies, Laws and Regulations • Drive the Core Values and Behaviors defined by ABB PAMA Sales division • Maintain Opportunity Sales Funnels in Salesforce to meet/exceed sales objectives • Drive activities and development of sales partners and ABB teams for effective sales development of CWA products • Train and mentor sales partners and sales teams, assess technical and sales skills and develop as needed • Ensure that ABB meets customer expectations and contractual obligations • Develop influencer and management contact with major accounts to increase market penetration and mitigate risk • Develop and manage customer referrals for key product and application interest. Qualifications for the role
- Higher education is preferred in chemistry or mechanical or electrical engineering; or 5 or more years of proven and directly relatable industry experience
- 5 years related technical experience with CWA products and applications in a sales, service, or end user role
- Exceptional analytical, communication and leadership skills
- Experience working with and developing sales partners and sales teams preferred
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
