We are seeking a Facilities Engineering Lead to perform engineering and technical tasks for the New Melton Hospital project. This role will work closely with the TAM Operations Leader and provide engineering support, technical reviews, development of scope of work, preparation of engineering and building services related documentation for TAM operations. The role will be based on New Melton Hospital site.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete the review for design package submission
• Work with operations team to identify and manage potential building, equipment design defects
• Provide technical review and support the operations
• Optimise planning of strategies, external resources and engineering activities
• Achieve continuous improvement and overall effectiveness to attain productivity and business targets
• Ensure high risk and critical assets, engineering elements are identified and suitably documented for action and consideration
Key Experience & Capabilities:
• Engineering degree/qualifications
• 5 Years Engineering or Business Leadership/operations experience
• Technically confident with broad range of engineering issues
• Requires extensive and demonstrated experience working across building services / construction / operational project
• Ability to work effectively in a customer driven functional engineering capacity
• Proven background in Services engineering is essential
• A proven track record of delivery and success in the areas of problem solving and process change / improvement
• Effective interpersonal skills to develop good working relationships internally and externally
• Great communication and influencing skills both written and verbal
• Hands on and ability to work on site 5 days a week
