JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) Project Manager to lead and oversee MPD projects from inception through completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, project management, and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex drilling projects on time and within budget.

We are seeking an experienced Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) Project Manager to lead and oversee MPD projects from inception through completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, project management, and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex drilling projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:
   1. Lead the planning, execution, and closing phases of MPD projects.
   2. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
   3. Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
   4. Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project requirements and objectives are met.
   5. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
2. Financial Oversight:
   1. Work closely with the finance department to monitor project budgets and expenditures.
   2. Forecast and track project financials, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
   3. Report on financial performance to senior management.
3. Enterprise Resource Management:
   1. Oversee enterprise resource management systems, optimizing resource allocation.
   2. Ensure the availability of necessary resources, such as personnel, equipment, and materials for projects.
   3. Streamline resource allocation to maximize project efficiency.
4. Purchasing and Procurement:
   1. Manage the purchasing and procurement process for projects.
   2. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to secure necessary materials and services.
   3. Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate favorable terms.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred or previous years of experience in Project Management field
2. 3-5 years previous Project Management experience
3. Experience in project management, with a focus on capital projects.
4. PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification Preferred
5. Proficiency in finance systems and budget management.
6. Familiarity with enterprise resource management systems, specifically JD Edwards.
7. Experience in purchasing and procurement processes.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
10. Problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions.
11. Highly organized and detail oriented.
