Overview
We are seeking a Digital Solutions Specialist to join the Upstream Digital & Computing Strategy Department (UD&CSD).
The Upstream Digital & Computing Strategy Department (UD&CSD) is responsible for the Upstream digital technology strategy and architecture functions to accelerate the Upstream digital transformation. This includes identifying Upstream digital demands, devising an integrated digital roadmap, designing technology architecture, and procuring the required hardware and software technologies. UD&CSD serves as a catalyst for improving the overall organization agility and achieving the corporate digital vision of improving operational efficiency & safety, ensuring reliability & sustainability, and achieving the corporate net-zero emissions target.
As a Digital Solutions Specialist you will be responsible for developing digital processes, strategies, frameworks, and best practices. Scouts for and introduces new digital technologies. Proposes cost effective, reusable, and innovative digital design and architecture models.

Key Responsibilities
As a successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:
- Leads digital agile development, ideation and design thinking sessions, use cases and business cases development.
- Develops corporate digital flagship programs.
- Manages digital projects portfolio including: prioritization and funding.
- Oversees digital projects execution by various execution agencies.
- Conducts studies, research, and analysis and makes recommendations to address business challenges.
- Leads the development, implementation, and introduction of new technologies and solutions, proof of concepts, prototypes, and minimum viable products to proof the value to Saudi Aramco.
- Defines optimum implementation methods including: off-shelf, software-as-a-service, and in-house custom development.
- Designs, develops, and recommends deployment environments including: cloud, on premise, and hybrid.
- Provides technical leadership to capital programs by initiating, designing and conducting studies to introduce new technologies in capital programs scope in order to increase revenue, optimize processes, protect the environment, and improve safety.
- Develops plans to scale-up digital solutions across the company.
- Develops, maintains, and manages architecture and data governance and compliance frameworks.
- Assess, identify, and mitigate key risks for the corporate digital strategy and programs.
Minimum Requirements
As a successful candidate you will hold a:
- Bachelor degree In Information Technology or Engineering relevant discipline from an accredited university. MSc or higher education is preferred.
- A Minimum of 12 years of experience in Digital Transformation solutions, Data & Artificial Intelligence.
- Previous experience with strategy roadmap and operationalization
- Strong knowledge in digital architecture and solution engineering
- Understanding of digital trends and emerging technologies.
- Possess broad knowledge of best practices in digital transformation.
