We are seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Lead to join our team in La Défense, France. This is a full-time contract position for the duration of 06-01-2025 to 05-01-2026, with the potential for extension. As the Project Controls Lead, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of our Suriname B58 Subsea package project.
Role Overview
- Lead and coordinate the Project Control team for the SPS package, ensuring compliance with HSSE rules and requirements.
- Implement and monitor procedures for Project Controls activities, including risk management and confidentiality.
- Manage the contracting process for all contracts related to the Subsea package, liaising with relevant specialists for technical management.
- Prepare and update the Subsea package budget, control costs, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Coordinate schedules and monitor progress for the Subsea package, providing data for the integrated project schedule.
- Lead transverse activities and dedicated missions as needed, in coordination with the Subsea Package Manager.
- Prepare and disseminate reporting for the Subsea package, ensuring accuracy and quality of information.
- Develop and implement a structure for efficient file management and set up an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) for the Subsea package.
- Coordinate HR activities and monitor mobilization plans for the Subsea package.
- Manage logistics for the Subsea package, including office setup.
- Contribute to the preparation of the Subsea package Implementation Plan and local development plan.
Skills & Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Project Controls, specifically in offshore energy and FPSO projects.
- Strong knowledge of international standards and norms, Company Rules, and Project Procedures.
- Optional: Experience in Risk Management and familiarity with Contracting Processes.
- Proficiency in Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple activities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
- Certifications in Project Management or relevant field advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Controls or related field.
