Are you ready to take on the role of Materials Coordinator for a major project on rotational basis in Papua New Guinea? As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating all materials and services necessary to support the project. Join our client and make a significant impact on their success!

Role Overview

• End-to-end Materials Coordination: Oversee all activities related to materials coordination for the project.
• Interface Management: Act as the liaison between the business unit and procurement.
• Daily Communication: Interact with planning, inventory, vendors, buyers, and maintenance to ensure timely and effective coordination.
• Customer Support: Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders.
• Risk Assessments: Participate in or lead risk assessments and hazard observations.
• Vendor Management: Ensure that non-core services vendors have met all site requirements before arriving at the site.
• Equipment Spare Parts Management: Assist in managing equipment spare parts lists.

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a closely related position.
• Materials Coordination: Extensive knowledge of how and where materials are used in a plant.
• Supplier Coordination: Advanced time management skills and excellent problem-solving abilities.
• SAP Material Catalogs: Extensive knowledge of SAP material catalogues and search tools.
• Search Tools: Advanced written and oral communication skills.

Education & Experience

• Previous experience in a closely related position.
• Extensive knowledge of SAP material catalogues and search tools.
• Advanced time management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Advanced written and oral communication skills.
• Influencing with and without authority.
• Organization skills.
