JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood is recruiting a motivated and enthusiastic entry-level Painter to join our team in Port Campbell, VIC. This is an excellent opportunity for a young individual with a trade qualification who is eager to gain experience in the Oil & Gas industry. This position is temporary for 3-5 months, starting in January 2025.

Wood's "Operations" APAC East business delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, optimization, and technical services to the Oil & Gas industry and enjoys long-term partnerships with some of the region's most prominent producers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will:

• Hold work rights to be able to work lawfully in Australia.
• Be in VIC, Australia. Preferred locations Warrnambool, Colac, and Timboon areas.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming.
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

You will have:

• Trade qualification in painting or a related field.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
