Join our team as a Laboratory Technician II and support our client in a big petrochemical industry! This is a full-time contract position located in Nanticoke, Ontario, Canada.

Role Overview

• Perform routine and non-routine laboratory analysis and wet chemistry on product and in-process samples.
• Support plant operations by ensuring quality assurance and control through accurate data generation and record-keeping.
• Calibrate and maintain test equipment to ensure accurate results.
• Utilize analytical instruments to address quality assurance and control issues.
• Prepare chemical stock solutions, reagents, and set preparation standards.
• Receive direction and support from lab supervisors and chemists.
• Work with moderate direction and utilize skills and knowledge to perform job duties.

Education & Experience

• Background in Chemical, Process, or Technical Engineering from a polytechnic institution.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Process, or Technical Engineering preferred.
• Experience in the petrochemical industry advantageous.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proficient in computer usage.
• Preferable experience in quality control systems.
