Airswift is seeking an Inventory Planner to work on an outsourced contract in Port of spain with a major O&G Company.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Contribute to inventory monitoring, analysis, evaluation and management to support our operations and functions
Ensure the availability of parts for Operations by managing negotiations and streamlining negotiations through the Parts Availability Tracker (PAT)
Ensure stock availability to support the efficient and cost-effective to meet forecasting requirements of internal business partners to enable planned and emergent activities within agreed KPIs.
Occurrence management, evaluating the availability of parts for scheduled jobs and making recommendations in accordance with the inventory planning process
Reviewing free text items, identifying transfer opportunities, and ensuring linkage of parts availability with service orders
Coordinates proactively and effectively to expedite delivery of materials when schedule changes cannot be accommodated
Manages demand by releasing purchase requisitions, seeks to use stock within the network, transferring stock when possible
Applies relevant material sorting and stocking strategies to optimize inventory levels.
Coordination with Procurement for the acquisition of materials and identification of materials to be added to existing master contracts
Analysis of campaign requirements and transfers, including financial impacts
Coordination and correspondence with joint venture partners, lead negotiators and finance
Maintain inventory strategies and inventory rule sets
Maintain minimum/maximum levels and safety stock
Identify and resolve potential issues such as stockouts and minimize waste
Monitor and resolve MRP exceptions
Respond to stakeholder inventory inquiries
Manage renewal of rotating stock items
Process master data updates for new and existing materials and support the phase-out of obsolete materials
Ensure capital surpluses are acquired and serialized through correct processes
Ensure inventory compliance with Joint Venture requirements
Generate inventory reports and KPIs monthly or ad-hoc as needed
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Higher education
Experience in a Supply Chain/Logistics Inventory environment
Knowledge of ERP, SAP Materials Management and Material Master Data systems.
English
