Staffing Assistant - Houston, TX
Airswift is currently seeking a Staffing Assistant to work with a major LNG client in Houston, TX. This will be a long-term W-2 contract position with extensions.
The Staffing Assistant supports with recruitment of permanent and temporary positions. Helps with full life-cycle recruitment and management of the Application Tracking System (ATS). Assists with an ongoing candidate pool through referrals and various search techniques. Coordinates and manages schedules, appointments, and deadlines. Assists in preparing reports, presentations, and other critical documents.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assists with recruitment for permanent and temporary positions.
- Supports Talent Acquisition team in entire talent acquisition life cycle.
- Sources, identifies and screens candidates.
- Works with candidates, clients and Talent Acquisition team with scheduling interviews, and coordinates with HR team and client Administrative Assistants to greet and escort candidates to interviews.
- Ensures timely communication to both internal and external candidates regarding application status.
- Assists with pre-employment processes including drug screen, background check, and reference check.
- Assists in preparing periodic analytical reports and documentation.
- Maintains accurate records and files.
- Maintains applicant flow records in ATS.
- Stays abreast of new trends for various technical occupational groups, current legislation, and innovations in the field of recruitment.
- Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).
- Knowledge of general state and federal employment law.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects.
- Ability to maintain confidential information and materials.
- Ability to be proactive.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Solid team player with the ability to work independently.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
- Excellent computer skills (such as Microsoft Office specifically Excel., etc.)
- ATS system experience desired.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
- Associate's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience required.
- 2+ years of recruitment/staffing experience required.
