Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support in all financial and commercial matters on projects from controlling and operational perspective. Supporting Project Manager and/or Project Finance Manager in all financial and commercial matters and actively drive the project's performance.Provide financial expertise to the organization by compiling and analyzing metrics, identifying trends and problems, communicating information to relevant groups. The work model for the role is: #LI-onsire, #LI-hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries Business and based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. You will be mainly accountable for: • Supportting the tender manager on financial aspects. Providing input to negotiations on commercial issues. • Preparing project invoices, financial accounting, and reporting (including project site accounting), while driving revenues and optimizing project cash flow. • Ensuring the accuracy of the project balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow, including overseeing currency risk and providing monthly/quarterly forecasts. • Providing input to the Project Manager in identifying opportunities and risks, and supports in coordinating and preparing monthly project reviews. Additionally, contributeing to the project cost report. • Providing input to the Project Manager on claim management, back-charges and insurance cases. • Analyzing business performance trends and proposing improvement actions, while preparing reports to ensure transparency on business performance. Partnering with business stakeholders to provide daily financial advice.

Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- More than 8 years of years of experience in Project Finance, Controlling and accounting.
- Experience in financial project control, with a track record of successfully managing projects.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting.
- Fluent in English both written and verbal.
