ABOUT ECOSPHERE

Ecosphère is a consultancy and engineering firm focused on nature and sustainable development. With 35 years of expertise in applied ecology, Ecosphère uses its technical and scientific knowledge to incorporate biodiversity into public and private policies. The company operates in France with over 200 employees, offering a variety of services, including ecological audits, regulation-related studies, management plans, construction monitoring, geospatial services, biodiversity consulting, and more.

For over 10 years, Ecosphère has been involved in offshore activities through its subsidiaries TBM (Remote Sensing and Marine Biology), national leader for underwater cables, and SOMME (Multi-Modal Environmental Monitoring). These companies are specialized in all marine compartments and project stages, such as risk assessments, marine fauna and megafauna studies, regulatory filing, ecological monitoring, and research programs. Ecosphère also runs the Migratlane program for bird monitoring along the Atlantic coast for the French Biodiversity Agency (OFB). Additionally, Ecosphère has created a consortium (ERWC) with other European research offices (Waardenburg Ecology, Oikon, NCC) to advance renewable energy and wildlife protection in Europe. The ERWC network includes key ecological consulting firms from Europe, employing nearly 500 experts to ensure the highest standards in sustainable development.
