Introduction
We are seeking an internship student (m/f/x) to join our Metals and Chemical Processing (MCP) Research and Development team for 4-6 months (ideally 6 months). You will be responsible for experiments with a new laboratory multi-purpose scrubber facility, which involves the design of experiments, the operation of the test facility, and the evaluation and analysis of the experimental data.
Your role plays a crucial part in the development of process know-how for SOx and NOx removal, which will contribute to the environmental performance of our process plants and process equipment, and which will play an essential role in electrification, e.g., in recycling of E-Scrap. In this position, you will report to Hermann Sieger, Senior R&D Manager.
This position is mainly located in Frankfurt.
Team you belong to
You will join a team of specialists in the R&D department dedicated to the development, and execution of laboratory experiments for our process technologies. We are currently working on a newly designed and commissioned laboratory test plant for scrubbing pollutants in off-gas cleaning processes.
We work closely together with internal stakeholders, such as colleagues in the R&D team, as well as gas cleaning process experts. Our team culture is all about team spirit and collaboration to reach our common goal of improving our process technologies with digital solutions. The members in our team are located in Germany.
