Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Reservoir Engineering Tech in Midland, TX. Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering, the Reservoir Engineering Tech will provide reservoir engineering support for a variety of projects (as detailed below). The ideal candidate will have strong technical and communication skills and be able to contribute his/her expertise while working on multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

General Responsibilities

• Build, run and QC initial economic evaluations for development decisions
• Assist engineers in determining DC&F Capex, LOE, and Shrink/Yield assumptions for evaluation models and building supporting presentation materials
• Inventory maintenance including updates to type curve assignments
• Work with multi-disciplinary team - Engineering, Geology, Land, Regulatory, Marketing, Operations
• Support engineers and management with ad-hoc data gathering and analysis requests
• Build tools and workflows to make routine department tasks efficient and enhance analysis
• Perform and report basin activity surveillance
• Assist in the preparation of presentations for technical reviews and management meetings
• Handle multiple projects concurrently

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of oil and gas experience as an Engineering Technician/Analyst preferred
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Must be self-motivated and capable of independently integrating within multi-disciplinary teams
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Proficiency in ARIES and Microsoft Access/SQL; Spotfire skills preferred; ComboCurve experience preferred; ARC GIS experience a positive
