The CoreOS software team is looking for an exceptionally talented Embedded Software Engineering manager in the PMU and Power Systems Software group for Apple products. This group is responsible for development of our Core System Management Controller platform FW/SW and System Power Distribution (PMIC) FW/SW. You will contribute to the success of much of Apple's product line including the AppleWatch, all iOS products, and all Mac products. This is a highly cross functional role where you will work closely with teams across SW, HW, Systems teams, Platform Architecture, and our Silicon development teams.

Description
The PMU and Power Systems Engineering Manager is responsible for the leadership and management of a highly talented engineering team that is responsible for the PMU and Power Systems Firmware/Software development and productization across all of Apple's product line including Apple Watch, iOS products, and all Mac products. Key responsibilities will include -
- Hiring and retaining top talent, defining and delivering the team's roadmap with high quality deliverables on schedule
- Identifying and mitigating risks in the Program schedule
- Working cross-functionally for delivering Product Features
- Promoting a team culture that encourages innovation and sets high standards for quality and productivity
