We have an excellent career opportunity available for a QA/QCEngineer in the Honeywell UOP business unit located inDhahran, KSA. This is a great opportunity to utilize your experience in processengineering to significantly impact the UOP Process Technologies Equipment& Engineering team.
UOP is a part of Honeywell's Energy& Sustainability Solutions (ESS) business group, UOP has more than3,000 active patents, a global presence, and a century of experience usingbreakthrough chemistry and engineering to power globalgrowth. UOP provides reliable technical service and support, withexpertise in plant operations, asset management, customized training, strategicand tactical support, troubleshooting, and engineering services. UOP's worldwide sales, support and manufacturing facilitiesincludes locations in the Americas, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
Key Responsibilities:
Review of technical specifications
Develop project inspection, quality plans & test plans
Review supplier procedures
Plan, schedule, facilitate pre-inspection meetings
Identify qualified inspectors through international inspection agencies
Provide inspection coordination between client and suppliers
Review inspection reports
Manage supplier quality issues
Participate in supplier qualifications & audits
Mentor less experienced Quality Engineers globally
Including:
Brainstorm solutions
Drive continuous improvement
Coordinate problem resolutions
Lead cost improvement analysis
Manage Quality Management System for the office. Lead Quality initiatives/efforts from region i.e. lead ISO 9001 preparations & annual audits.
Use Honeywell UOP Business, HSE plus Operating Procedures and Tools for efficiency
Take on Functional Accountabilities for cost center as assigned. Participate in functional activities and meetings.
Undertake training as required.
Key Experience & Capabilities:
Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology/Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Electronics/Instrumentation engineering
Minimum 5 years Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and/or Inspection experience in gas processing, refining and petrochemical plants/project environment
Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean Expert, Certified ISO or IATF 16949 auditor. Knowledge of ISO standards & specifications.
Good understanding of process improvement tools such as Root Cause Analysis, PDCA, DMAIC, FMEA, statistical process control (SPC) & Kaizen.
Understanding of Innovation and Creativity tool: Brainstorming, Mind mapping, lateral thinking & critical thinking. Knowledge of Process analysis: Process mapping, Flowcharting & turtle diagram & PPAP.
Ability to work independently
Willingness to learn new technologies
Eagerness to get involved in hands-on work
Proficient time management skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and customer management skills
Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
Demonstration on a daily basis of a high level of personal integrity
Ability to work on multiple projects at a time
Willingness to travel
