As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to utilize your engineering experience and expertise in office work, oil & gas, LV & MV switchboards, UPS, and transformers to contribute to the success of this project.
Role Overview
- Perform electrical calculations and design for various systems and equipment.
- Utilize knowledge of electrical construction methods and materials to ensure project success.
- Collaborate with other engineers and team members to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on progress and any potential issues.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Contribute to the development of project plans and schedules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues that may arise during the project.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of all electrical work.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Strong understanding of electrical calculations and design principles.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical construction methods and materials.
- Previous engineering experience in the oil & gas industry.
- Proficiency in LV & MV switchboards, UPS, and transformers.
- Ability to work effectively in an office setting.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Professional engineering license preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering.
- Experience in the oil & gas industry preferred.
