Estimator

Develop and maintain comprehensive CapEx estimates, including all classifications (Class 1-5) and components such as permitting, design, labor, insurance, and contingencies.
Collaborate with project teams to support financial reporting, fundraising, and overall cost control processes.
Analyze and incorporate risks, contingencies, and productivity factors into CapEx models.
Utilize advanced Excel skills to create and manage detailed estimation models and project analyses.
Work on a variety of mining projects, ranging from large-scale developments to smaller initiatives, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Partner with existing estimators and cross-functional project teams to achieve project goals.

Essential skills and knowledge

2-5 years of experience in estimating, preferably within the mining industry.
Familiarity with AACE standards and CapEx estimating principles, including classifications, risks, productivity, growth, and contingencies.
Proven ability to handle significant scopes within large-scale projects.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with additional software knowledge being an asset.
Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively within diverse project teams.
