This position reports to
Area Sales Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the sales of ABB products and solutions to customers in the Central Valley, California region. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. This is a remote position, however candidates should be located in the Sacramento - Bakersfield, CA area. This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings division in Northern California, USA. You will be mainly accountable for: • Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB's offering and strategy. • Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers. • Identifying and driving the development of new business opportunities in the designated market. • Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed

Qualifications for the role
- BA or BS with minimum of 5+ years related experience or GED with 10+ years' experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical industry and ABB products
- Experience working with OEM customers and channel partners
- Strong technical application, take-off, and proposal development skills, including experience with complex contract negotiations.
- Ability to utilize analytical software and sales tools
- Business travel in district to support assigned accounts as required
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
