As a Sr Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in performing preventive maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, point-to-point checkouts, troubleshooting, and/or replacement of HVAC controls systems & equipment, and building control systems. Your expertise and technical skills will ensure the smooth operation and optimal performance of our customers' HVAC and building control systems. You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and you'll work out of our designated locations. In this role, you will have a direct impact on the efficiency, reliability, and safety of our customers' HVAC and building control systems. Your ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our customers and the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to Honeywell and customer safety standards, provide safety awareness leadership and instruction to technicians and subcontractors on Honeywell work sites
- Perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, point-to-point checkouts, troubleshooting and/or replacement of HVAC controls systems & equipment, and building control systems
- Diagnose and repair a variety of electronic and digital control system malfunctions
- Test and perform modifications to systems software when needed
- Assist with sketching and documenting field changes and discrepancies for engineering corrections and drawings
- Provide training and associated manuals and documentation to customers on electronic control systems operations
- Provides support to mechanical contractor to troubleshoot issues
- Ensure work performed complies with company, state, local and federal regulations, industry standards and guidelines, and customer requirements
- Compile project documentation, such as certificate of completion, customer training forms, training certificates and punch lists
- Conduct self-study (reading, research and practice) to improve and maintain technical proficiency in company's product lines; completes certifications as required
- Read and properly interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics and operational product manuals
- YOU MUST HAVE
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in air conditioning, construction, mechanical, IT networking, electrical and/or wiring.
- 2+ years of experience commissioning, troubleshooting or installing Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems.
- Knowledge of a variety of electronic or digital controls systems, HVAC controls systems, facilities management systems, site preparation, peripheral equipment installation and servicing techniquES
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology and/or air conditioning
