Overview
We are seeking a Field Compliance Coordinator to join Southern Area Oil Operation Business Support Division.
The Southern Area Oil Operation Business Support Division is responsible to ensure safety compliance of our Southern Area Operations Facilities.
As a Field Compliance Coordinator, you will be responsible for assessing safety programs and leading the development of solutions where opportunities exist for improvements, understand design concepts and principles, and integrity requirements of facilities and equipment.

We are seeking a Field Compliance Coordinator to join Southern Area Oil Operation Business Support Division.
The Southern Area Oil Operation Business Support Division is responsible to ensure safety compliance of our Southern Area Operations Facilities.
As a Field Compliance Coordinator, you will be responsible for assessing safety programs and leading the development of solutions where opportunities exist for improvements, understand design concepts and principles, and integrity requirements of facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
As a successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:
- Advise management on loss and fire prevention policies, standards and procedures, and recommend changes that can improve risk management programs.
- Review existing company standards, procedures and instructions and recommending cost effective safety enhancements to facilities to align them with the latest international standards.
- Review long-range trends in loss/fire prevention engineering and advising management on a company response to these trends.
- Research emerging safety technologies and conducting feasibility studies and cost analyses to identify improved solutions to existing safety problems and emerging regulatory requirements.
- Act as an expert process safety resource for risk identification and mitigation during design, construction, commissioning, turn-over to operations, on-going operations, management of change and decommissioning of facilities.
- Responsible for safety/operations safety, and will involve in projects at the design phase from a safety perspective.
Minimum Requirements
As a successful candidate you will hold a:
- Bachelor degree in engineering, Industrial hygiene, environmental science, or in a related discipline from an accredited university.
- International safety certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience related to safety operations, Oil & Gas industry, and diversified manufacturing plants.
- Ability to introduce new procedures, designs and technologies that make more proactive and effective in managing process safety, as well the ability to credibly influence without positional authority.
- Strong technical expertise in the area of process safety, e.g., design engineering, loss control management, hazard identification, hazard and operability reviews, incident investigations, emergency preparedness & response, and safety management systems.
