In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Planning and Execution:

• Develop and own the Project Plan that includes schedules, achievements, procurement strategy, execution strategy, financial targets, resources, communications and considerations of risks.
• Coordinate manufacturing sites by taking into account material costs, project site location and best cost country capabilities through effective planning scheduling and management.
• Work with the Close Out Team to finalize completion of the project including the MRO handoff and documentation.
• Manage critical path and execution risk.
• Lead cross-functional project teams.
• Responsible for the EDDI to ensure realistic lead times and standard document tiers are quoted.

Relationship Management

• Lead internal and external communication meetings to ensure alignment.
• Lead the customer post award meeting when the order is committed to Emerson.
• Lead the Internal Kick-Off meeting to resolve all open issues and provide clarity on the execution plan.
• Coordinate the inspection meetings.
• Align with the customer on the Commitment Date and the customer PO Dates, including dates for achievements in drawing and procedure submittals, approvals, equipment inspection notifications, and "Ready for Inspection" dates.
• Interface and maintain ongoing communication with the Customer, Contractor, and LBP throughout the project's duration to provide updates, achievements, and progress.

Negotiation

• Negotiate the initial scope of the project, change order, progress payments, terms and conditions, and all additions or expectations to the project with the customer, local business partner/sales office, and industry sales representatives.

Contract Management

• Understand the Terms and Conditions of the contract.
• Minimize exposure to penalties, familiarity with contract law and regulations.
• Work to ensure costs are managed and wherever possible, that still allow the project to meet customer requirements, action should be taken to avoid costs.

Financial Performance

• Responsible for the improved financial performance of the project (margin uplift). Effectively manage change orders for improved financial performance of the project.
• Establish and manage financial targets and metrics for the project with the help of the Project Financial Analyst.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Degree in Engineering, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in a Project Manager role.
