Now Hiring: Traveling HVAC & Facilities Specialist

Essential Responsibilities:

• This position serves as the company's "go-to" expert for HVAC systems across our portfolio of properties. The ideal candidate will excel in maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting HVAC systems, while also training on-site teams and creating preventative maintenance (PM) programs. This role requires consistent travel throughout the United States to ensure all properties receive exceptional maintenance support.
• Reports to work for scheduled shift, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.
• Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.
• Embrace O'Reach, Green Team, Guest Service, Team Member Satisfaction, Health & Wellness, and Safety culture.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including VRF/VAV, PTACs, VTACs, and chiller systems.
• Significant experience with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to create and implement training programs for property-level teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively and adapt to varying schedules.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair, with a focus on commercial or hospitality systems.
• Certification in HVAC systems or a related technical field preferred.
• Proven experience in managing preventative maintenance programs.

Hours:

• Due to the nature of the business, scheduling may vary and include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• This role requires flexibility, including occasional weekends or evenings to address urgent maintenance needs.

Physical Requirements of the Position:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and at varying heights.
• Capable of prolonged standing, bending, and physical activity as required by the position.

Work Conditions:

• Exposure to indoor and outdoor environments, including varying weather conditions.
• Potential exposure to loud noises, fumes, and hazardous materials, with appropriate safety measures provided.
