We are seeking an experienced Offshore Night Shift Superintendent to join our team on a contract basis.
Role Overview
- Implement H3SE rules and requirements within the designated area of responsibility.
- Supervise and control offshore activities performed by SURF Contractor from the LIGHT CONSTRUCTION Vessel.
- Ensure compliance with agreed procedures, project specifications, and international norms and standards.
- Maintain a high level of quality and safety during all offshore operations.
- Report progress and concerns to the SURF Offshore company site representative onboard the LIGHT CONSTRUCTION Vessel.
- Anticipate problems and propose solutions to optimize and improve offshore operations.
- Provide support to the SURF Offshore company site representative for personnel and equipment needs onboard the vessel.
- Ensure smooth communication and coordination between MWS and SURF Contractor during night shift.
- Maintain confidentiality of all documentation and information received.
- Assist with team management onboard the vessel during night shift activities.
- Experience with SIMOPS, HOOKUP, and FPSO operations.
- Knowledge of H3SE rules and regulations, as well as HSE training requirements.
- Familiarity with project specifications, and international norms and standards.
- Understanding of rigging, SPS tools, and ICAPS sheets.
- Ability to manage change effectively through the MOC process.
- Strong communication skills for reporting and coordinating with team members.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities for identifying and resolving issues during offshore operations.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience preferred.
- Certifications in HSE or relevant industry standards advantageous.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in offshore operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
