Job Title: Divisional Director - Downstream, Midstream, Power & Renewables

Location: London/Hybrid (Typically 2/3 days in the office)

What you will do:
  • Develop and foster senior level client relationships to attract new business and retain existing clients (internal, external producers and original clients).
  • Lead account teams in order to meet or exceed client / producer expectations within agreed timelines and manage client messaging.
  • Establish lines of control and delegate responsibilities to subordinate staff ensuring all team members attain and maintain competence and are adequately supervised.
  • Initiate and lead collaborative working with other product lines to develop joint marketing strategies and realise cross-selling opportunities and business growth.
  • Good working knowledge of Property Policy wordings and ability to articulate to client or underwriters.
  • Lead and manage interaction with Lenders Insurance Advisors to maintain compliance or agree appropriate waivers.
  • Comply with relevant legal, regulatory and compliance requirements, Errors and Omissions (E&O) compliance procedures and quality initiatives.
  • Escalate any potential E&O's to the Legal & Compliance team at the earliest opportunity.

What you will bring:
  • Degree level education preferable, with GCSE or equivalent level passes in Maths and English.
  • ACII or equivalent professional qualification, preferred, but not essential.
  • At least 10 years' experience of relevant insurance and/or reinsurance discipline(s) (Ideally within Downstream, Midstream, Power & Renewables)
  • Proven track record, with good problem-solving skills that can be provided.
  • Experience in preparing "Requests for Proposals" submissions preferable.
  • Respected market reputation and extensive business/client network.
