Collaborate with experienced engineers and project managers while overseeing the implementation of water and

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor Construction Activities: Conduct on-site observations to ensure work adheres to contract documents, technical specifications, and design standards
  • Ensure Quality Compliance: Identify and report any non-compliant work while facilitating corrective actions
  • Perform Final Inspections: Verify project completion, including the accuracy of certificates, maintenance manuals, operation manuals, and other required deliverables
  • Review Contractor Submissions: Analyze project schedules, shop drawing submittals, and schedules of values for consistency and accuracy
  • Document Progress: Maintain detailed field observation reports, including written logs and photographs, to track construction milestones and compliance
  • Assess Completed Work: Review contract drawings and technical specifications to confirm the quality and accuracy of installed systems
  • Oversee Testing: Supervise acceptance testing of water and wastewater facilities to ensure they meet required standards
  • Facilitate Communication:

o Provide regular updates to project teams regarding construction progress

o Engage with client personnel to maintain strong professional relationships

o Communicate with the public within project areas to address concerns and provide updates
  • Verify Regulatory Compliance: Ensure work complies with all relevant regulatory agency permits and requirements

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of experience in:
  • Construction observation and administration related to water and wastewater projects
  • Basic survey, grade and cut sheets and quantity data
  • NICET certification, preferred but not required
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Valid U.S. driver's license with the ability to travel to job sites, meetings, and other office locations
  • Legal right to work in the U.S.
