Are you ready to take on the role of QA/QC Engineer Services for a major project in La Défense, France? As a Contract QA/QC Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance and maintaining high quality standards for our client's offshore pipeline project.
Role Overview
Compliance and Conduct: Demonstrate exemplary behavior and implement HSE rules and requirements within your area of responsibility.
Quality Management: Support and enforce the Project Quality Management System and promote the Project Quality Policy and Objectives.
Surveillance and Monitoring: Define and develop a Package Quality Surveillance program, monitor the performance of Contractors, Suppliers, and Vendors' QC activities, and ensure 3rd party surveillance activities are considered.
Audits and Reviews: Witness Quality Audits, issue/review associated audit reports, and ensure proper root cause analysis of quality failures.
Coordination and Communication: Interface with Certifying Authorities, participate in meetings with subcontractors and vendors, and review and approve Quality Control plans and Inspection and Test Plans.
Issue Resolution: Analyze and resolve issues highlighted during quality surveillance/QC activities, review and assess Non-Conformance reports, and track Corrective Action Requests.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain Package Quality indicators, populate QC reporting system, maintain records and monitoring registers, and provide regular status reports to the Package Manager.
Skills & Qualifications
Audit Experience: Previous experience in conducting audits is required.
Offshore Pipeline Knowledge: Familiarity with offshore pipelines is essential.
Quality Management Skills: Optional requirement but highly preferred.
Due Diligence Experience: Previous experience in applying Due Diligence procedures is an asset.
Root Cause Analysis Skills: Ability to conduct root cause analysis is required.
Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective coordination and communication with various stakeholders.
Attention to Detail: Ability to pay close attention to detail is crucial for ensuring compliance with project requirements.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills are needed for managing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Team Player: Ability to work well in a team environment is essential for this role.
Education & Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is preferred.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in Quality Management or related field are advantageous.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
