Airswift has been tasked by one of our major clients to seek an Electrical Inspector to work on an initial 1-year contract in Carlsbad, NM - with the possibility for extension!

- Conduct inspections of electrical systems, installations, and components, including wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, and lighting systems.
- Review electrical plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes (e.g., NEC, OSHA standards).
- Perform testing and measurements on electrical systems and equipment to verify their functionality and safety.
- Identify and document any non-compliance or safety hazards, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent training.
- Certification as a Licensed Electrical Inspector (e.g., through the International Code Council (ICC) or similar certification body) preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as an electrician or electrical inspector, with a strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards (e.g., NEC, OSHA).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
