Key responsibilities
Wood is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Generalist HR Consultant to serve as the internal optimalization champion and primary point of contact between our Client and the external consultants.
This role is critical and ensuring the successful delivery of Client transformation initiatives as outlined in their Organizational Optimization framing Document. The Internal HR consultant will drive engagement, foster collaboration, and embed sustainable changes across the organization, with a focus on Leadership development, cultural transformation, and workforce readiness.
The position is based onshore in Equatorial Guinea, West Africa, working on an extended rotational basis, actual rotation TBC.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Function as internal Optimalization Champion
• Represent Client interests and function as they liaison with external consultants.
• Champion organizational transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with Client strategic goals.
• Communicate vision, objectives, and progress of change initiatives to internal stakeholders at all levels.
Facilitate collaboration with external Consultants
• Coordinate with external consultant to ensure timely access to internal resources, data, and personnel.
• Monitor the progress of deliverables outlined in the scope of work, including the short term (100 days) plan, leadership development program, and strategic roadmap.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership project status, risks, and opportunities.
Support Leadership Development
• Collaborate with external consultants to design and deliver leadership development program tailored for Client context, with a focus on National employees
• Identify internal talent for leadership initiates and ensure their active participation in live projects and training sessions.
• Facilitate feedback looks to evaluate and refine leadership program.
Drive employee Engagement and Cultural Transformation
• Work closely with the HR Team to assess and enhance organizational culture, aligning it with that Gas Mega -Hub mission.
• Lead initiatives to increase employee engagement, addressing resistance to change and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Functions as a role model for Client core values and behaviors, inspiring others to embrace change.
Oversees Change Management Processes
• Support the design and execution of surveys and diagnostics to identify performance and cultural gaps.
• Collaborate on the development and implementation of action plans to address identified gaps
• Establish and maintain a delivery tracker of monitoring progress against transformation milestone.
Ensure Sustainability of Changes
• Embed cultural and operational changes into Client policies and practices for long -term impact.
• Partner with HR Leadership to integrate change initiatives into performance management and talent development processes.
• conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the effectiveness of transformation initiatives.
Key Deliverables
• Facilitation of smooth and effective collaboration between Client and external consultants.
• Timely achievement of milestones in the 100-day plan and two-year roadmap.
• Enhanced leadership capacity among national employees.
• Increased employee engagement and alignment with Client strategic objectives.
• Sustainable embedding of cultural and operational changes.
• Assess the Company's compensation Structure and benefit package relative to competitiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS
Academic and/or Related Work Experience:
• Degree: Bachelor's in human resources, Organizational Development or a related field (Master's prefer).
Preferred Experience
• Several years of experience HR Generals role, with exposure to organizational change and transformation.
• Proven history of working on large-scale change initiatives in multinational culturally diverse environments.
• Experience in leadership development and talent Management programs.
Skills and Competencies:
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to managing multiple priorities
• Excellent communication ad people skills, capable of influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in data analysis and report generation o support decision-making.
• Proficiency n data analysis and report generation to support decision making.
• Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
Behavioral Attributes:
