As a Director of Materials Management at Honeywell, you will beresponsible for overseeing and ensuring the success of the materials managementorganization and function. Your primary focus will be global planning, siteexecution and procurement processes to improve our overall effectiveness indelivering OEM/R&O parts when needed, as well as driving continuous KPIimprovements. This role serves as a focal point for Distribution and R&O OTTR,Past-due Revenue, and Inventory performance. Objectives will include optimizingsupply chain efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring timely delivery ofmaterials to support our production schedules. You will use your leadership andmanagement skills, deep understanding of inventory management systems, and astrategic approach to sourcing and procurement. Your strategic oversightensures a streamlined and efficient supply chain, minimizing costs andmaximizing resource utilization. Your ability to optimize inventory levels andestablish effective procurement strategies directly impacts the company'sbottom line by reducing operational expenses and ensuring a constant flow ofmaterials for production. Your proactive approach to materials managementcontributes significantly to meeting production deadlines, enhancing overallbusiness resilience, and customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and ensure the success of comprehensive materials managementstrategies aligned with the company's overall objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand productionschedules, forecast demand, and establish effective procurement plans.
- Track total procurement activities, including effective vendor selectionand contract management to secure a reliable and cost-effective supply ofmaterials.
- Oversee inventory levels, minimizing excess or obsolete stock whileensuring an uninterrupted flow of materials to meet production requirements andmaintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensuretimely and cost-effective transportation of materials to and from theproduction facility.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with internaldepartments such as production, quality control, and finance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the materialsmanagement function. Implement best practices, leverage technology, and stayinformed about industry trends to enhance overall efficiency.

YOU MUST HAVE
- 8+ years of experience in materials management, procurement, and logistics, with a track record of success in optimizing supply chain processes
- 8+ years of experience managing, motivating, and guiding a related organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in materials management software and ERP systems

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business, or a related field
- Leadership experience and the ability to motivate and guide a team
