Lead HR Business Partner - India Operation Center
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement people strategy through the execution of HR processes. You will also showcase your expertise by representing HR in the business and establishing strong relationships with all business leaders and employees. Working with local and global HRBPs, you will be accountable for addressing the HR needs of multiple business units, translating business goals into HR priorities and ensuring effective implementation. The work model for the role is Hybrid #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the India Operation Center - Process Automation at ABB Ability Innovation Center (AIC) located in Bangalore. You will be mainly accountable for: • Setting, implementing, and supporting HR priorities and people strategy, covering culture, people, and organization by utilizing the existing HR solution portfolio or providing new solutions where appropriate. • Implementing the operating model, optimizing organization structures and principles per the group's global rules and standards, including the ABB Job Structure along with developing high-performance teams, including organization restructuring, optimal utilization, redeployment, and right-sizing people resources. • Articulating the business needs through the Business HR Operations Manager and Human Resource Services to ensure relevant, impactful support for the business area. • Ensuring that the business positions in the short term are adequately staffed to meet or exceed the annual business targets and people and organizational capabilities required in the mid-to-long term are understood and actioned. • Building performance culture in the organization, implementing group and global business performance standards, KPIs, and targets to enhance business performance, driving recognition and reward programs for individuals and teams linked to the business priorities and Values in Action and identifying gaps where people development is vital, support devising strategy, and collaborate closely with division HRBPs. • Applying in-depth business knowledge to support managers in implementing necessary measures and actions to facilitate change, including communication, reorganization, performance management, motivation, and recognition. • Working closely with Talent Partners to ensure a healthy and sustainable talent pipeline in the organization, considering the internal Talent pool and external market along with driving and executing all talent processes with business leaders, e.g., identification and succession planning for business-critical positions, diversity, and inclusion, and own the talent outcomes. Assess risks and coordinate actions to mitigate risks. • Ensuring adherence to statutory labor norms for the entity, compliance with legislation and HR policies, and adherence to Occupational Health & Safety and Compliance standards for INOPC.

Qualifications for the role
- You should have a minimum of 10 years of experience working as an HRBP.
- Prior experience of HR business partnering in an engineering organization environment is preferred.
- Should be passionate about supporting and implementing strategies to enable the success of INOPC.
- Master's degree in Human Resource Management or Equivalent.
- You are at ease communicating in English.
