TeleSolv Consulting has an immediate opportunity to work with the Federal Government as an Senior Technical Guidance enabling you to have a Clearance. Hybrid (Please only apply if you live in DC)

Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Prepares classification guidance and classification/ declassification policy documents in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, DOE orders, and DOE OC procedures for Restricted Data (RD), Trans classified Foreign Nuclear Information (TFNI), Formerly Restricted Data (FRD), National Security Information (NSI), and UCNI including but not limited to one of the technical areas listed in minimum qualifications.
  • Determines whether information is classified or UNCI.
  • Works with program offices to determine if information is CUI.
  • Interfaces with national laboratory staff on technical matters related to the classification of nuclear-weapon information. Provides technical expertise to federal staff as a subject matter expert in matters of nuclear weapon design, production, modeling, and military utilization. Mentors Technical Guidance Analysts.

Minimum Requirements:
  • U.S Citizens
  • Master's degree or equivalent in engineering or physical science from an accredited college or university. Individual must be able to read and understand written English at or above academic grade 15.
  • Nelson Denny reading assessment (http://riverpub.com/products/ndrt/index.html) or equivalent reading assessment would be accepted by the Government.
  • contractor must provide the written test score from the completed reading comprehension test to certify that the individual has met this requirement before being hired/accepted on the contract.
  • Five (5) or more years of current experience as a DC for Government records or in developing classification guidance.
  • All FTEs must qualify as a DC by the end of the contract transition period. After the transition has occurred, replacement individuals must qualify as DC within three (3) months of hire.
  • At least ten (10) years of field experience in one or more of the following areas (to be considered an area of expertise), (1) nuclear weapons/improvised nuclear device design and science (2) military utilization of nuclear weapons and nuclear weapon effects (3) weapon science and inertial confinement fusion (4) Between the two key STGAs.
  • Required that at least three (3) years of field experience is represented in each of the technical areas above.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Highly desirable for the individual to be qualified as a DOE Derivative Classifier(DC) at time of hire. DOE DC experience is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience as a technical staff member at a nuclear weapon design laboratory is highly desirable. Ph.D. or equivalent in engineering or physical science from an accredited college or university preferred.
