Activities
- Coordinate Meetings: Schedule and take minutes for internal and external meetings, both in person and virtual.
- Liaison Duties: Act as a point of contact between team members, employees, and third parties, handling information requests, resolving or escalating issues, and providing timely updates.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to enhance process quality, efficiency, and operational excellence within the transmission and interconnection team.
- Project Reporting: Maintain and report on project progress for a portfolio of programs, ensuring stakeholders are informed about processes, timelines, and schedules.
- Invoice Management: Organize and process invoices related to transmission and interconnection activities from ISOs, RTOs, third parties, and transmission owners. Ensure timely payments and collaborate with the accounting department.
- Team Support: Assist the transmission and interconnection team with various tasks as needed.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in the renewable, GIS, power generation, transmission, or utilities experience highly preferred.
- Experience with vendor management and corporate compliance.
- Skills:
- Excellent organizational skills demonstrated by clear and effective project plans and executive level reporting that ensure timely action and decision making in time-pressured scenarios.
- Exhibit enthusiasm and proficiency in process improvement and problem-solving.
- Superior communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Detailed and process oriented with a self-driven demeanor.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, capable of leading efficiently and outperforming assigned objective.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, as well as project scheduling and project management software (preferably Salesforce).
