Having responsibility for the detail in the production route.
• Lead investigations into technical issues affecting customers and production
operations associated from heat treatment issues.
Collating and analysing performance data and charts against defined parameters.
Technical contract and standards review
Integral towards the maintenance of NADCAP approvals for Heat Treatment and
Chemical Processing
Monitor, authorise and record and release the thermocouple stock. Also to order in
and recommend which thermocouples fit the best situation.
Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
Prepare internal and customer Technical reports as required.
Provide direct service to the Operational teams.
• Proactive involvement in Health & Safety and 5s/ lean initiatives.
Experience of manufacturing processes and/or metals industry.
Man-management across the various functions.
Nadcap awareness/knowledge across Heat Treatment, Chemical Processing
Laboratory sample preparation processes and evaluation.
Can-do attitude, Team player, self-motivated, flexible approach
Ability to learn new skills quickly
High level of accuracy, quality of work and attention to detail
A Degree or equivalent in an Engineering discipline.
Able to work in a Manufacturing Engineering environment and wear PPE including
hearing protection, gloves, hard hat, safety shoes and safety glasses.
It is a prerequisite to undergo a Drug & Alcohol test
