The Engineering Support Specialist II - Data Manager, serves in a supporting role or as a leader providing templates, guidance, and best practices for critical engineering documentation that directly support our customer base. The Engineering Specialist provides critical coordination of engine maintenance and configuration documentation. The candidate may also be relied upon for coordinating the final documents for all engineering reports and documents. This position supports a career path geared towards a technical expertise in the area of technical data integration and authoring.

You will report directly to our Engineering Support Manager, and you will report to
13350 US Hwy 19 N, Clearwater, FL 33764. This role is eligible for hybrid work mode, except for the first 90 days.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be part of an engineering team that is defining the future of Honeywell Aerospace products.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Responsible for ensuring timely Contract Data Management (CDM) support for CMADS Defense & Space products and programs
  • Strong understanding of CDM Teamcenter tool and ability to mentor/train other team members
  • Cost accounting experience and ability to create estimates for new business opportunities using the Aerospace Estimation Tool (AET)
  • Implementing CDM policies and practices to ensure all customer/contractual requirements are met on time
  • Ability to work well with internal teams to coordinate the planning, scheduling and submittal of contractual data packages
  • Proficient with using the CDM database tool to provide traceability for all customer submittals and approval status
  • Provide associated data reports to both internal and external customers as required
  • Participates on or leads cross-functional teams to improve CDM processes and tool
  • Support customer audits
  • Drive on-time customer submittals
  • Provide traceability reports on customer deliverables

U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENT

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • 3 to 5 years executing the Data Management function
  • Experience managing submittal of Contract Data Requirement Lists/Subcontract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs/SDRLs)
  • Ability to obtain security clearance(s) per customer contractual requirements
