Here at Hilti GB our large projects team are growing, and we have a new role for a Technical Project Account Manager. As a Technical Project Account Manager in the major projects team, you will build relationships with key contacts, by delivering technical solutions and nurturing the opportunity to maximise Hilti products and solutions by delivering bespoke complex technical training to Tier 1 contractors on the Hinkley Point C project.

You will be able to use your technical skills and knowledge to deliver engaging and educational training surrounding Firestop and Nuclear Anchor solutions that fit bespoke customer needs. You will be confident to present and influence opportunities to promote Hilti's full suite of products and services. You will be a driving force in maximising activities, opportunities and engaging Tier 1 contractors onsite at Hinkley Point C.

In your dual capacity as a Technical Project Account Manager and Technical Trainer you will deliver engaging and complex training and support and nurture the accounts on site as a Hilti subject matter expert. You will lead on technical decisions around product and solutions, but you will also have autonomy and influence. What does the role involve?

As a Technical Project Account Manager, no two days will be alike, however typically your day-to-day responsibilities will be focused on the following.

Technical Advice and Delivery : You will be able to clearly demonstrate and educate at all levels. Using your knowledge as the Technical Project Account Manager you will have freedom to create and develop comprehensive training packages that will educate, and deliver these to Tier 1 contractors on site.

Project Account Management: You will cultivate and nurture strong relationships and partnering with Tier 1 contractors to understand needs and solutions, presenting tailored resolutions that will align with requirements, resulting in strong relationships and long-term partnerships.

What you need is:

To be successful in this role you will need proficiency in technical training delivery, a deep understanding of construction practices and services. You will hold strong relationship building skills which are essential for success in this role.

Essential

  • Demonstrated experience in technical training delivery, preferably in the construction or industrial sector.
  • Influence and an ability to persuade at all levels, using your skills and technical understanding as a subject matter expert.
  • Good technical understanding of construction practices, specifically pertaining highly regulated projects, ideally you will have Nuclear Anchor knowledge and Firestop solutions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, enabling you to convey complex technical concepts and sales propositions clearly and persuasively.
  • Experience in developing training content from scratch, incorporating adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, enabling efficient management of training sessions, sales activities, and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, engaging with cross-functional teams and adapting to dynamic environments.
Desirable

  • Relevant technical certifications and qualifications are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, particularly Salesforce, for effective lead management and reporting.
