Welding Engineer
Are you ready to take on the role of Welding Engineer for a major offshore construction project in Paris, France? As a certified welding inspector and offshore structural engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our client's project. Join our team and be a part of this exciting opportunity!
Role Overview
- Review supplier welding documentation and provide technical support for welding issues.
- Develop welding documentation for offshore structures and pipelines, both on-site and at fabrication yards.
- Coordinate welding qualifications for fabrication sites and provide technical support.
- Provide technical support for welding issues at fabrication sites.
- Travel to Paris and Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines with possible spot missions at subcontractors.
- Certified Welding Inspector with experience in offshore welding.
- Fluent in English for effective communication with international team members.
- Optional: Experience as a Welding Engineer with certifications in IWE, AWS D1.1, ASME IX, NORSOK M101, and DNV RP F101.
- Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering or related field preferred.
- Certifications in IWE or IWT required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in welding engineering and offshore construction projects.
