The Contracts Specialist is responsible for the administration of Fuels Operating Contracts (branded and unbranded fuels). Administration activities include processing contracts, monitoring contractual volume requirements, processing incentive payments, managing the shortfall and recapture processes, handling claims associated with product quality and preforming document management activities. Supports Fuel Sales Channel and their business partner requirements. Demonstrates leadership by continuously developing tools to enable the department to achieve and/or exceed its performance targets.

The Contracts Specialist is responsible for the administration of Fuels Operating Contracts (branded and unbranded fuels). Administration activities include processing contracts, monitoring contractual volume requirements, processing incentive payments, managing the shortfall and recapture processes, handling claims associated with product quality and preforming document management activities. Experience and Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree: business, finance, or technical degree preferred.
- Minimum two (2) years working experience in Sales & Operations - Retail or Wholesale.
- Experience with Finance & Controls or similar activity involving exposure to SAP activities preferred.
- Experience with reading, interpreting and administration of Retail Channel Partner related contracts.
- Effective with problem solving (root cause analysis skills).
- Ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
- Knowledge related to managing Retail platforms, agreements, and site performance.
- Operational understanding of the Retail Business and its competitors preferred.
- Customer-focus and service orientation.
Accountabilities
- Consistently demonstrate Customer 1st behaviors by considering the customer in all that we do, putting forth extra effort to understand our customers and their business needs, while creating an exceptional Customer Experience.
- Create FSM contracts (branded and unbranded) using Apptus, Salesforce and facilitating the E2E completion of the contract working at with Territory Managers and other Teams who play a role in the contract process.
- Champion contract process with various internal and external stakeholders by proactively seeking opportunities to improve execution.
- Maintain adherence to MoA controls by ensuring the work is accurate and up to date; adhering to the documented processes and ensuring that all controls and procedures are followed
- Leadership attributes and support of continuous improvement within the E2E processes through knowledge sharing with cross functional teams.
- Understand team dynamics and customer complexity to provide high level error handling support.
- Act as SME for complex contracts requiring more focused and dedicated support.
- Build and cultivate networks across other strategic partners to deliver solutions within and outside the Sales Support realm.

- Strong communications skills both written and orally.
