This position reports to

Scrum Master (ELSP Pilot)

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to foster a culture of continuous improvement and team empowerment to deliver value to stakeholders. Each day, you will guide a squad and facilitate collaboration using agile methodologies and moderation skills. You will also showcase your expertise by fostering effective team dynamics, building agile maturity, and helping the squad deliver their best work. • Works with one or two agile teams in parallel, providing guidance agile team on the application of agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products and services to customers. • Models agile empowering behaviors to support the organization's transformation to a new, agile way of working. • Builds and leverages effective alliances across other agile team, as well as the technical and business communities. • Contributes to the advancement and improvement of agile practices within the individual agile team and tribe. • Responsible for ensuring a comprehensive understanding of scrum framework and that agile team adheres to scrum theory, practice, and guidelines. • Coaches, inspires, and mentors teams, promoting positive team dynamics to ensure collaboration and effective work within agile teamand across the agile teams, to manage risks, and dependencies. • Elevates the agile team to a high-performing level by identifying areas of strength and improvement, employing targeted coaching, and utilizing effective development techniques. • Facilitates team-level scrum events, including sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, and sprint retrospective, ensuring active and comprehensive agile team engagement. • Ensures compliance with the location table of authority. • Implements and ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in their assigned area. • Ensures adherence to all internal and statutory regulations and policies pertaining to the teams in scope. • Ensures integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities across all teams in scope. • Demonstrates ABB's core values and organization safety and integrity standards and acts accord-ingly. • Implements and ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in their assigned area. • Ensures adherence to all relevant internal and statutory regulations and policies. • Ensures integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities. • Demonstrates an understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) terms, concept applica-tion, reporting, and risks. • Provides guidance to the teams and seeks knowledge for their own development and coaching/mentoring of the teams on agile methodology and mindset. • Manages relationships with stakeholders in their own area of responsibility and ensures alignment. • Contribute to Build effective, competent, and high-performing teams. • Ensures adherence to the collaboration objectives of the team to maximize results for ABB. • Leads their development journey by seeking knowledge and learning opportunities within the team. • Manages relationships with stakeholders in their own area of responsibility and ensures alignment.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's Degree or above (this position is not embedded in the IT environment; we are open for profiles with different backgrounds like psychology, social science, business administration, economics etc.)
  • More than 2 years of experiences as a Scrum Master
  • Motivated to work in an Agile, dynamic workplace and cross functional team
  • Experience in leading people with the ability to earn trust while challenging the team to improve and operate outside its comfort zone
  • Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
  • Ability to promote positive team dynamics & collaboration within the team and other teams
  • Risk management and conflict resolution skills
  • Must be able to communicate in English as a working language
  • Nice to have: Manufacturing industry background with hardware/equipment development
  • Nice to have: CSM, CSP-SM, PMI-ACP, ICAgile-ATF, ICAgile-ACC certification
