The Data & AI team, a vital part of Digital Solutions, is focused on delivering accurate, available, and comprehensive data products to enable actionable insights. This department is an integral component of Vestas' innovative Digital Powerhouse. Our goal is to empower customers, partners, and colleagues to seamlessly discover, access, and connect essential information for informed decisions and impactful actions.

Responsibilities
As a Data Platform Developer, you will be a crucial part of our data platform team. Your daily tasks will focus on enabling the internal customers to develop their analytics products. You will implement and develop pipelines for new projects and running solutions.
Key activities

• Develop new platform features
• Ensure the stability of the data platform
• Root cause analysis and bug fixing
• Monitor platform services
• Support data platform users with their data ingestion and processing workloads
• Collaboration with the rest of the platform team on optimizing the overall platform

Qualifications
We expect you have experience in working with some of the following areas

• Designing and building complex data processing systems, including working with cloud-based data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake or similar technologies
• Creating and maintaining stable, highly available cloud infrastructure, including managing containerized workloads with Kubernetes
• Utilizing data streaming technologies, such as Apache Kafka, Event Hubs, or Spark Structured Streaming
• Performing root cause analysis and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Extensive experience with SQL, Python, and/or other programming languages
• Experience with building and maintaining complex CI/CD procedures using Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar is beneficial
• You preferably have experience with distributed compute frameworks such as Apache Spark
