If you share our determination to drive the transition to a low-carbon future, then this could be the job for you. We are currently seeking a Subcontract Manager, reporting directly to Site Subcontracting Manager to join our Subcontracting team based in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.
About the Job
Your main missions and responsibilities will be to: Participating in an effective subcontracting strategy for cost and contractual purposes, implementing the subcontracting process of tendering, and validating subcontracting documentation. Providing Construction Cost Estimates or selections for award, formalizing signatures of the subcontracts, and managing the administration of subcontracts at the site up to closeout. Additionally, managing any contractual issues with subcontractors.

Your main missions and responsibilities will be to: Participating in an effective subcontracting strategy for cost and contractual purposes, implementing the subcontracting process of tendering, and validating subcontracting documentation. Providing Construction Cost Estimates or selections for award, formalizing signatures of the subcontracts, and managing the administration of subcontracts at the site up to closeout. Additionally, managing any contractual issues with subcontractors.
Main accountabilities:
- Participates in or leads the subcontract development process.
- Review standard subcontracts to ensure compliance with contracting policy prior to execution.
- Implements and performs subcontracting management process (including prime contract flow down, procedures issuance, bidder long list, master bid package, evaluation of subcontractors...).
- Ensures sourcing and qualification of bidders, issues bidder list
- Performs preparation, assembly and issuance of Call for tenders, addendums, and tender clarifications.
- Estimates the construction manhours
- Performs negotiation, formation and award of formal subcontracts.
- Issues feedback and statistic (cost, man hours, productivity, quantities, reworks rates, ...) reports/records as per corporate guidelines.
- Leads the field administration of subcontracts (including change order and back-charges management) as per procedures and subcontract closeout.
- Implements subcontracting process of tendering for additional field subcontracts (sourcing, Call for Bids, offers analysis, award of formal subcontracts).
- Studies all justifications given by Subcontractors, for any extra work orders or claims requested.
- Prepares financial statement format of each subcontract.
- Monitors Subcontractors actual progress curves for invoicing purpose.
- Prepares subcontracting activity reports, default notice and subcontract closeout.
- Ensures formal assessment of the subcontractors performance.

About You
Wed love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:
- Qualification: Bachelor or Master Degree
- Languages: Fluency in English
- Experience: previous in job site, onshore/offshore segment, multi-type of main contracting scheme (FEED, EPC...), multi-type of construction contracting scheme (multi-subcontracting, consortium, general contractor...)
- Skills: open-minded in technical subjects, management and leadership skills, project management skills, good interpersonal and influential skills
