Essential skills and knowledge
- Initiating, progressing, and delivering projects: Identifies opportunities for product and application developments, quality or process improvement. Initiates and progress assigned projects in compliance with relevant process and procedure. Define target performances and requirement related to materials properties or process parameters, develop concepts, and validate;
- Coordinating work: Manages multiple timelines, resources & responsibilities to achieve goals. Creates plan, assigns tasks & monitors progress to meet timely delivery of objectives;
- Critical analysis of results: Validates results and ensures that results are reported in line with approved template and process. Investigates when deviation in results is observed. Monitor accuracy of results and propose improvement programs Provides technical opinion with interpretation of results and proposing analytical techniques;
- Performing literature reviews: Supports ideation process, planning and recommendations through systematic use of literature reviews;
- Report writing and presentation: prepare reports and presentations to communicate information to different level of the organisation internally and externally;
- Providing technical support: Deliver assigned activities, provides technical expertise and opinion to assist key stakeholders with quality and process improvements, product development and plant troubleshooting. Participate in cross functional teams to address technical issues and provide solutions;
- Knowledge Development: Keeps up to date with latest technological developments related to Company products, applications and process as well as develop specific technical knowledge relevant to Company products and process technologies. Propose opportunities for capability development;
- Documentation: Ensure compliance with documentation requirements, internal process, and procedure.
Essential skills and knowledge
- M.Sc. or PhD in Polymer Chemistry, Chemical engineering, Chemistry, Polymer engineering, Materials engineering or Mechanical engineering or related;
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of relevant experience.
