What are you going to do

  • Ensure the smooth and profitable operations of a company's assigned projects and plays and important role in achieving company’s vision, mission and objectives, provide consultation to management on strategic project staffing plans, training and development, budget;
  • Develop project plan, define project goals and translate these into KPI’s in order to meet the organization’s business strategy;
  • Provide the Division Director or Client Account Manager periodically with reports on KPI’s (e.g. progress, issues, equipment and results) and on the project’s financial performance and results, budget, work done and forecasts;
  • Build and maintain strategically important client and contractor relations, Involve key internal and external stakeholders;
  • Ensure that the QA/QC and HSE requirements are observed in all Projects, vessels and support craft;
  • Final approval for all project related purchases within the approved project budget;
  • Monitor performance of Project Operations, and Project Manager’s and monitoring daily performance of the project;
  • Make well informed decisions for the project that are in the best interest of the client and the Company;
  • Cooperate efficiently, effectively and constructively with internal and external stakeholders in order to meet project goals;
  • Ensure optimal staffing and resourcing for effective and efficient functioning of the Projects in order to meet the business priorities;
  • Decide based on the staffing and resources needs following human resources procedures and processes;
  • Support and facilitate the best development opportunities of the staff;
  • Manage and be accountable for all projects operation;
  • Contribute to the company’s Talent Management processes, supporting staff with identified potential to realise and achieve their full potential within the company;
  • Ensuring the business operates within the company's mission statement;
  • Ensure optimal staffing and resourcing for effective and efficient functioning of the Project in order to meet the business priorities;
  • Decide with Division Director or Client Account Manager on the staffing and resources needs following human resources procedures and processes;
  • Ensure that the yearly performance evaluation cycle will be executed for all Projects staff. Execute the performance evaluation process;
  • Manage and be accountable for all projects operation;
  • Ensures that health and safety practices and procedures are undertaken in accordance with a healthy and safe working environment in line with company policy;
  • Ensure that the QHSE requirements are observed in all projects, vessels etc., and discipline those who violate or noncompliance.


Essential skills and knowledge

  • Bachelor’s and or Master’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent professional qualification;
  • PMP certification is an asset;
  • Field, Operational and project management experience in marine construction and the dredging industry;
  • Excellent experience in project performance analysis;
  • Extensive track record of projects management;
  • Knowledge of project budget control;
  • Capability to manage several project’s simultaneously or very large project.
