JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform all assignments, duties, and tasks in a safe manner following standard procedures and practices. Encourage others to do so. Correct and/or report all unsafe conditions immediately.
• Perform duties to continuously improve quality and productivity.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Assist in equipment maintenance activities as directed.
• Communicate and coordinate necessary information to appropriate department/shift employees to ensure effective operations.
• Inform the Coating Plant Supervisor or his/her designee if any disturbance or irregularities in the production flow occurs.
• Record Daily Production Reports, Quality Assurance/Control Reports and all necessary Reports regarding operation.
• Follow all the Company HSEMS, QMS, policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties that maybe assigned by the Plant Supervisor or his/her designee.

JOB TASKS:

• Roll pipe along racks throughout facility.
• Remove protectors.
• Clean or apply pipe dope to/from threads.
• Record serial numbers if applicable.
• Verify through visual inspection that the pipes are suitable for coating.
• Be capable of operating blast, end cut or using a grinder.
• Perform other duties asked of them by supervisors or management.

Education and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred but not required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a coating facility
• Must possess strong verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work independently as well as together with the team
• Must be able to work in a non-climate control industrial environment
