Under the direction of the Shop Supervisor, this role will primarily be involved in service, and refurbish NOV Downhole tools. Involved with the assembly, maintenance, testing and disassembly of tools: Drilling motors, Drilling Tools, Fishing Tools, Coiled Tubing Tools and MOCS Tool.

Under the direction of the Shop Supervisor, this role will primarily be involved in service, and refurbish NOV Downhole tools. Involved with the assembly, maintenance, testing and disassembly of tools: Drilling motors, Drilling Tools, Fishing Tools, Coiled Tubing Tools and MOCS Tool.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY:
- Safely dismantle, clean, inspect, assemble, repair, test and paint downhole tools per NOV standards of quality and safety.
- Ensure that all serviced tools are in acceptable working order and maintained/serviced per NOV procedures.
- Complete all necessary documentation and data entry during service process.
- Operate crane and forklift to load/unload parts/materials.
- Perform equipment inspections as per required procedures.
- Maintain 5S / housekeeping of work area.
- Communicate to Management any issues with equipment, tools, inspections, and HSE concerns.
- Other duties as assigned.
BEHAVIORAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Engineering degree in a related field is preferable.
- 2 years' experience in a related role, considered an asset.
- Strong work ethic with multi-tasking abilities.
- Mechanically inclined with a strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude with the desire to be a team-player.
- Ability to work in a shop environment and conduct physical activities such as lifting, crouching, reaching, and standing for periods of time.
- HSE Requirements: Squatting, bending, lifting, reaching, and walking.
